Pool Rules

Lifeguards and Managers have final discretion on all rules and regulations.

  • Parents and guardians are responsible for the safety of their children.
  • Swimmers must shower before entering the pool.
  • Flotation devices under 28 inches are allowed unless they hinder visibility. During busy periods, lifeguards may restrict all flotation devices.
  • All green band swimmers are subject to swim testing at the discretion of the lifeguard to ensure continued safety.
  • No running.
  • No diving.
  • No inappropriate behavior, language, or horseplay.
  • Persons with infectious conditions, open wounds, severe sunburn, or abrasions are not permitted in the pools. No band aids in the pool.
  • Appropriate swimwear is required. The following are prohibited but not limited to: thong/G-string suits, undergarments, sports bras, street clothes, cut-offs, jeans, gym shorts, or any attire deemed inappropriate by staff.
  • Only bottled water is allowed on the pool deck.
  • No food allowed on the pool deck.
  • No glass or ceramic containers.
  • No phones, cameras, or recording devices in locker rooms.
  • Swim diapers are required for children that are not fully potty trained.
  • Pool is closed 15 minutes prior to facility closing.
  • All swimmers must follow swim band policies.

Woodmen Hills Metropolitan District Reserves the Right to Refuse Service. Failure to follow these rules or the Facility User Agreement may result in removal from the pool or suspension of privileges
