As a metropolitan district, Woodmen Hills is a quasi-municipal corporation and political subdivision of the State of Colorado under Colorado Revised Statutes Title 32. Metro districts are formed to provide residents with basic public services. Woodmen Hills is governed by a board of five directors, who must be residents of the district and elected by residents at large. Woodmen Hills Metropolitan District was formed in 1995.

The District office is located at 8046 Eastonville Road and is open Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm.
